December 21, 200816 yr quote - It's odd to think that one day D will be old, possibly with a scrawny neck. Thats why I wish he would get a move on now with his career.!!! I'm desperate for D to get a move on because I'm already old with a scrawny neck!!! :( Sue
December 21, 200816 yr Even if his time is behind everyone else's. Punctuality is not one of his strong points........he just gets carried away with things of the moment.
December 22, 200816 yr Baecause it is a posh watch..........didn't he keep it after 'modelling' it for Fern on TV.
December 23, 200816 yr Author Then he wouldn't be him and stop and talk to people instead of rushing off.
December 23, 200816 yr Author I think we take it for granted he'll probably be caught up with something so much he'll end up rushing.
January 5, 200916 yr I believe voting goes on till the last week of January Bramley......I've not voted yet and neither have some of my friends. I've been holding on hoping that Darius might have a last minute surge!!!!! (I think he's definitely going to need it!!) Please, everybody who admires D's work go to Whatsonstage.com and vote for him as 'Best Actor in a Musical' because even if he doesn't win every bit of recognition will help to boost his profile and we will get more chances of seeing him on stage!! :D Julie (On DS there is a report about Hugh Jackman dropping out of a rock musical film version of Anthony and Cleopatra due to work commitments. If Hugh was in the running for Rhett, why couldn't D be in the running for Anthony!? He could make the film and still release his album and tour.... I can dream, can't I!! Cleopatra is to be played by Catherine Zeta Jones - I think D has met her before, hasn't he?!)
January 5, 200916 yr Wow, that really would be fantastic. May I join in your dream, Julie? I've been wondering whether a general appeal for votes for Darius put out on the Lounge might help, or if that would result in votes against him. What do you think? Or perhaps there may be some other way to increase his chances? Edited January 6, 200916 yr by Bramley
January 5, 200916 yr Wow, that really would be fantastic. May I join in your dream, Julie? I've been wondering whether a general appeal for votes for Darius put out on the Lounge might help, or if that would result in votes against him. What do you think? ( I wouldn't do it without general approval from our members.) Of course, you can join my dream Bramley - who knows what might happen if we wish hard enough.... :D I don't think it would be a good idea to appeal to the whole Buzzjack Forum for votes for D - you never know if it would do more harm than good, and I would hate that!! If members drop into the Darius Forum then I would like to think that they have some admiration/respect for him and may possibly consider voting but sometimes (for some unknown reason!) there is such animosity for D from some people, who knows what might happen!! :o  I have also noticed criticism on some other sites, where members are begging for votes for their favourite!! I think D is doing very well in the voting atm, considering that GWTW is no longer and four of the others are still in the West End! We can only do our best for him and hope that it will be enough.... Julie
January 5, 200916 yr Definately a good dream, but I think you're right about it doing more harm than good. Some people can be so negative about Darius that we don't want to give them any excuse. Sue
January 5, 200916 yr It was just that I was racking my brains for some way to increase D's votes, but I agree, not one of my better ideas, too much hostility around. Can anyone suggest anything else? Time is running out. Edited January 6, 200916 yr by Bramley
January 6, 200916 yr The Results columns showing current voting percentages have now been removed, so I guess we're approaching the end of voting time. Please ask all your friends and work-mates to vote, if they haven't already done so. Last time I looked D was more or less equal third ........ surely we can lift him higher than this ? Edited January 6, 200916 yr by Bramley
January 6, 200916 yr Really wish we could, but don't think we're going to manage it. Don't know who else to ask. :( Sue
