June 20, 200619 yr Author WHAT ?! thisispop please can you change my prediction for the France game as I meant France to win 4-0 NOT Togo as you'd expect. I was actually going to PM you about it in a few minutes - but you have beaten me to it. I had a feeling that you had the scoreline the wrong way around (then again remember France v Senegal 4 years ago!). I'll go & change it now.
June 21, 200619 yr Author How can Cassidy of predicted more correct scores than results? Martyn, It is as follows: A correct result (worth 3 Pts) is predicting correctly whether the "Home" side wins, the "Away" side wins or if it is a "draw". A correct score (worth 1 Pt each) is correctly predicting the number of goals the "Home" or "Away" side will score in a match. Example: Sweden 2v2 England If you predicted a draw other than 2v2 (say 1v1) you would have predicted one correct result (3 Pts) but no correct scores. If you predicted 2v2 then you would have predicted the correct result (3 Pts) & two correct scores (2 Pts). If you had predicted 1v2 result - then you would score No correct result, but 1 correct score (1 Pt). I hope that helps. PS leaderboard updated after this afternoon's Group D fixtures.
