Zack De La Rocha should be no.1.

Abso-bloody-lutely.

Don't knock Jon McClure too much. He may come across as a bit of a d!*kh**d, and he can't sing, but at least he says something meaningful once in a while. 'Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong' - need I say more? The NME were right about the Arctic Monkeys, Team Waterpolo, Friendly Fires - but that band, and most of the 'cool list' is a big let-down.

Nicky Wire might've been cool in 1991, when The Manics were young, dangerous and kind of sexy.... But NOW???? ROFLMAO..... Anyway, I think we all know that Richie Edwards was always the coolest member of the Manics..... Yeah, I know, it's easy to say that when he was the one who disappeared without trace, presumed dead, and didn't become fat, old and boring like the rest of them, but still......

And, indeed, NME readers are tw@ts.....Except the ones on BJ who actually KNOW it's cr@p.....

yeah there has been kinda allegations on other letters pages.messgae boards that the manics are getting quite desperate to be seen as relevant as the new album is reported to be based on left-over lyrics from Edwards....

btw does anyone reading the nme these days remember/want to remember who the f*** 'Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong' is these days

Awwwww, dear oh dear.... How TACKY can you get.....? :puke2: That's almost like grave-robbing dont you think....? Unless they know summat we dont, if you know what I mean....

I'm glad I gave up taking the Manics seriously 10 years ago....

Ha, you lasted a good couple of years longer than me!

Well, "Everything Must Go" wasn't too bad an album... But "This Is My Truth...."??? Bogging.... :puke2: And, frankly, they've really done nothing to convince me since that...

I think that Kurt Cobain's words in "Serve the Servants" are very apt when applied to the Manics - "Teenage angst has paid off well/Now I'm bored and old"

I read Edwards obit in the paper the other day - and seeing as Edwards wasnt pronounced legally dead until a couple of days ago - coulnt he be on the list instead as the vibe was very much touching on the we're the punk band who are gonna make one album and split up kinda vibe/torchered artist carving 4 real into his arm when Edwards was in the band..and then when he disappeared the band turned into this big stadium-rock beast on a level to U2 (tho probs it could be said that U2 as big stadium rock beasts could be seen as being more intersting overall - tho maybe MSP are on a similar level to Bryan Adams...but with out the nuddie pictures of P!nk)

I wonder what the Artrocker really totally uncool list would be this year?? like this i'm guessing?
