Band member Heidi Range, 25, insisted that the show's producers will be reluctant to provide promotional slots for the group because they are Girls Aloud's biggest chart rivals. "It makes sense that if they're going to have a girlband on they'll have Girls Aloud," Range told the Daily Star. "You can't blame them, though. If one of us was on the panel we would be like: 'No, we are the only girlband'." Keisha Buchanan recently decided to "set the record straight" by claiming that the group are more successful than Girls Aloud. November 6, 200816 yr as i said in the other forum x factor wants people like Britney, Mariah Etc and if they cant they want reality TV Winners to show what you can get aka Will Young this year! Leon/Leona previous winners of course Shayne would if he had a new album! so its not about success or cheryl being a judge, Girls Aloud performed last year and they hyped it up as "look what u can achieve from reality tv" kinda thing! Thats why im sure the SB havent made it, not cause of Cheryl, otherwise wouldnt Dannii have performed her single last year? lord knows she needed it!!!

November 6, 200816 yr Your theory makes no sense anyway because Sugababes weren't invited on last year when About You Now and Change were a bigger success than Call The Shots and Tangled Up. They're always going to go for GA.
November 6, 200816 yr No, actually. Would you like to know why? Because agents pay a lot of money to get their artists a slot on a prime time TV show. Sugababes agents' are stingy and do not pay for such things. GA's aren't and do. That is why. Anybody can perform on the show if their management stump up cash. GA's do, Sugas' don't. End.
