i believe the reason Girls Aloud where on last year (rather than Sugababes) is actually simple they come from Reality TV... they remind the public of success much like they used Will Young this year, he's hardly doing amazing now.

 

In general the show wants BIG STARS Mariah, Britney etc... the biggest stars! they will then fill with former X Factor people (who are still making the show money) and Reality TV acts Girls Aloud, Will Young...

 

Remember Dannii did not get to perform her single last year, so the judge thing obv doesnt have that much wait, i would say the reality tv popstars background does more?? Thus, Sugababes don't fit the criteria otherwise they would have been on last year when at their height with 'About You Now'

 

 

RE The battle: Its great publicity for both, people have to get that, Sugababes v Girls Aloud... I am pleased for Girls Aloud away from this cause its about time they had a huge hit and #1 studio album!!!

Yeah but what would be the point to have a 3rd mod here? I mean, maybe you and Simon are not abbled enough to make it on your own, but I think both moderators of this forum are doing a great job and doesn't need to nominate a 3rd mod just for the sake of it...

And btw, there are many GA fans on this forum, and I don't feel I would deserve to be a mod more than them, so really I don't get your point.
