Sex, for me, is always experimental - whatever the gender - I speak from experience, Rob, and a sexual life in a free-thinking, open, anything-goes era - you quite obviously don't. Perhaps you married too young......

 

I don't give a toss whether someone tells me they're 'straight', 'bi' or 'gay' - sexual labels are for the sexually boring - speak to any life-term prisoner - over 85% of them have homosexual experiences whilst inside prison - are you telling me now that 85% of men are, as you call it, 'bisexual'? Or is it just criminals who are predominantly 'bisexual'?

 

And to conclude - I'm very much part of the 'real' world and I've probably seen more, ahem, 'real' men than you've potted pansies..... it's very revealing, and as I said before, really, really sad that a man of your age and supposed experience still relates to any sexual practise that involves the anus as being 'gay'....... you should get out more, Rob.

nowdays blokes are much more open about what they do or dont do. the internet has opened discussion because it can be done annonymously.

 

i know that theres a wide variety of sexual acts that go on behind closed doors... i could relate to you a whole miriad of 'exotic' ways in which people 'get off'. i do accept that some men do get off on straight anal, but it your suggestion that its rife is what i take issue with. however the list you compiled along with the one i could add too, is a MINORITY of real men... the majority of men are pretty unadventurous... ive asked my 23 year old daughter who is literally a young woman of the world (having lived in london and austrailia) and has had a modest amount of b/f. she has heard of straight men getting off analy but only knows 1, and even she was questioning his true sexuality! now that is pretty much in line with what my experiences are, so the age difference seems irrelevant, ie MY generation aint all old fuddys who perform once a week with the lights off!

kinsey though, is outdated and i dont think his exploration in 1950's america has much bareing on todays society.... tbh i think things today might even be more extreme. according to kinsey 2% of the population has had bestial relations.... thats 1 in 50... i know well over 50 peeps, which one or more of them?...lol... theres 3000 members here, i make that 60 bj members will or have had a bestial relationship! lol.. somehow i dont think so.

 

i dont see it like that m8... my sexuality is dictated to me by what 'turns me on'.. its not a conscious desicsion, i assume that everyone else is the same. i dont think you can accept a form of sexual practice that doesnt 'float your boat', UNLESS you have already got (albeit dormant) a propensity towards it. im certain that if i was locked up in prison for ever that id still not turn to gay sex, id simply go without. but what proportion of the population has some bi-sexuality in them either active or latent is open for speculation .... frankly id be surprised if my mates would be bi, in fact many of my m8s are going off sex altogether... You say it yourself though, it's all "anonymous" innit, you wouldn't even know if one of your mates or neighbours was off on one of these sorts of websites chatting about stuff that they're actually curious about, but afraid to actually do, ironically, because of what their mates would think.... :rolleyes: Freud has it spot on when he writes about "repression", he really does... Prisons are pretty notorious for 'male on male' action, and very few of these guys are gay or bi, the reasons for it are pretty obvious - no women around, and no one's really gonna talk about it in any great detail, at least, not while they're there at any rate....
