Thing is, she seems to do really badly with the third or fourth single from each of her last few albums. I think it'll be top 10 (just) but nowhere near a number one. Pity as I like it a lot better than 4 Minutes.

Where is McFly's Children In Need single (Do Ya (sadly not the ELO classic)/ Stay With Me (a cover of the Rod Stewart's Faces classic)?

 

Whilst I sadly wish your ranking of the hideous T.I. ft Rihanna single will be correct I will be amazed if it fails to go at least Top 5.

McFly just outside this top 40. It was only available to pre-order yesterday. I didn`t have a pre-order for the download of T.I./Rihanna. Possibly it will sell because it is Rihanna related! :teresa:

That was inevitable Martin. If he could have moved his XFactor appearance closer to the release I should think he would have, but he starts his tour on the 16th November so I would imagine that was the best time for him. He's in rehearsals now I should think and he's also got Top Gear on Sunday and CIN next week. I doubt he and his 'people' will be unduly worried by a lower charting so long as he sells his albums.

As for Madonna, I'm thinking top 15 maybe even lower for 'Miles Away'. Seems even she's not free of the curse of struggling to get 2/3 top ten hits of an album these days after one song that hangs around for ages.

It's not gone to radio yet though Mart!n until next week and the video isn't on the music channels yet, it's only been downloaded this week because he sang it on x-factor, anyway if it helps the album I'll be happy. :D

Pre-orders must be good for Grace. They all get added on physical release don't they? Which should help with the chart position. Correct me if I'm wrong.

From Confessions she had 4 top 10 hits but in general you're right.

 

I don't think though she's really bothered now anyway if Miles Away goes top 10/20 or not. She changes label, tours and has a lot to do with the divorce :lol: :wacko:

Interesting you mention the divorce. I think the publicity she's had from that is what will probably get the song top 10.

It'll be interesting to see anyway where it'll land. I still think it won't go top 10 but it might increase the sales of the album. At least I hope so.
