I think the vast majority of dance albums (compilations) are terrible nowadays. MOS used to be excellent in the 90s and early 00s with loads of classics. Now they focus on boring remixes of pop and hip hop songs. AATW is not that much better. They used to be great for commercial dance, (with plenty of covers though), but definitely never got as bad as this.

and the high pitch of the album annoys me too, almost to the point of me not buying it, but I have pitch lowering software so it's not that big a problem...

 

I do find dance studio albums to be far better now though

Yeah I've seen Kate Ryan on Clubland TV too.

Also I read on wiki Ultrabeat are releasing their new album Dec 1. Has that been confirmed just because I've never heard anything of this until now.
