But, Ben listening John, how would that work?

And it seems that girl know something more... :o

I'm not sure how Ben is going to listen to Locke. It's obvious that the island has something MAJOR in store for Locke. But what, i'm just not sure.

Ilana works for Widmore i'm sure. At first I thought they'd just found out something in the box, but now i'm very sure that the codename was put in place to recognise each of Widmore's people on the plane.

Probably.

And I'm wondering where Lock went for a minute. I'm sure he was doing something important, they didn't show that for nothing.

Can't wait for episode 5x15 with Richard! :w00t:
Sunday's episode was very good, and a lot of answers, I think I know where the last season is going

back to the beginning, they are going full circle its a time paradox, we might end up seeing characters that were killed off in season 1 Boone, his sister etc etc etc.

I think Richard is some sort of god, he does not age.

Only just watched the latest episode, im so thankful Penny lived. They always seem to kill off my favourite female charcters (Naomi, Libby, Charlotte, Shannon, Ms Klugh, Ana-Lucia..)

I loved the latest episode. One of my favs this season, bar for all the boring Jack/Kate bits.

I have got the feeling since they came back to Dharma times that someone is going to warn the Dharma people about the purge, and after te latest episode I am sure it is going to be Miles.

New episode is much much much more interesting then I was expecting! :o And also, the end! :o

Now we have to wait for two weeks. :(

tbh the best part of it was...

Hurley writing Empire Strikes back

Tragic.

I could see the final events coming like 10 minutes before they happened, but still TRAGIC all the same.

But this episode made me change the way I think about Lost. Imo the future can be changed (well, the Losties can change what happens in the future) but more specifically I think this occurs to Desmond. For some reason Elouise Hawking can no longer see the future and I do think this is to do with Desmond. I get the feeling she thought it was her purpose in life to make things happen the way they were supposed to happen, but obviously something was changed along the lines and maybe this was Desmond's doing.

what the f*** is happening

i dont even know.

f*** i love this programme, but the whole Daniel Faraday talking chain of events is just like, if they are going to stop flight 815 crashing in the first place whats the point in the programme :/

This is all crazy, really!

There's no way they're going to stop Flight815 from happening, its not plausible, even in the realms of Lost. The final episode is called The Incident, so I think it would be more likely that Faraday's thinking is going to cause Jack to attempt to stop Flight815 from happening, but this instead causes The Incident.

I love the way this season is heading though, but Faraday's death was just saaad. He was the most likeable character about. Poor guy.

So Faraday has now been killed by his own mother? And i finally thought id realised who the most important character in the show was.
I think you'll know more in next episode. :P

Nahh Locke's by far the most important character imo. Daniel was pivitol for this season, but I think his death just served as a prop. It sucks he's dead tbh, as he was really human and likeable. His life was just one big circle in the end.

Best episode of the season. Maybe because I don't like Dan's character, but this episode was the first time I started to warm to him

and then he got shot!

I'm guessing that technically, the past can be changed, but if you do change the past, some fooked up shiz will happen which is why there are these people like Widmore and Eloise who make sure everyone is where they should be. There's only a concept of destiny because certain people in the past encountered the time travellers.

Bu I thought destiny could not be changed? Its fate in effect, nothing you can do can affect it. I'm not sure whether I buy into 'the past can be changed' theory. I think Daniel (and Jack) think it can be changed but it would have drastic consequences in Flight 185 never crashed for example. But I do think Desmond can change the past, or have an effect on it at least. This was shown in the first episode when Daniel communicated with him.

Its a weird topic because there's evidence that the past can be changed because its the losties present, but at the same time all their actions thus far are what actually happened (Daniel dying, Sayid shooting Ben etc.).

This sort of makes my head boggle but I'll try to explain myself as best as possible.

Dan said that everyone has free will - just like he did when he was offered to go to the island. He could've said no, but he didn't because his mother told him to go. This isn't fate, this is because his mother has seen him on the island in the past and knows he has to go there. But what if she never convinced him to go because she thought she could save him? I think something bad would happen - almost like that Dr Who episode where Billie Piper stops her dad from dying. I think that Widmore and Ms Hawking are controlling people's lives so that the past doesn't change. Like when Ben asks her what happens if he can't get them all to return she says "God help us all" because if they don't go back to island and back to 1977, then the past will change.

So basically what I think is that you can change the past, but if you do, it has dire consequences.

This whole thing about destiny is confusing. If the characters never travelled to the past, no one would know what anyone's destiny is. The only reason Eloise knows Daniel is destined be a scientist is because he visited her from the future.
