It wouldn't - I'm lactose intolerant. Chocolate may get the chance even though I shouldn't have that either.

So what do you replace butter with.....even the spreads have some butter in, don't they?

You don't often need spreads.

Like the king in the nursery story, I like 'a little bit of butter for my bread', especially for hot baguettes, or warm crusty rolls.

Yummmy...freshly baked bread with butter

Or just freshley baked bread. I love the smell while it's baking.
