The two-year-old is said to have fallen ill when they were visiting family in the singer's hometown of Louisiana. 'One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill,' a source reveals. 'He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialled an ambulance. But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.' After rushing him to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, the tot was apparently examined by doctors. 'Jayden James had to be kept in hospital overnight for observations,' a source tells the Daily Mail. 'We don't yet know what's wrong with him. Britney was insistent that wouldn't leave him. She asked for a bed to be made up in the same room so she could be there at his side.' Ex-husband Kevin Federline, 30, is thought to be making his way to Louisiana to be with his kids. It's the first time Brit, 26, has taken Jayden and Sean Preston, 3, out of LA since Kevin gained full custody in July.
November 10, 200816 yr "I wasn't paying attention as closely as I should have been, but I'm pretty sure it was just reported on Ryan's show that they're all back home now and that the emergency is over...that's not to say they're not still monitoring him at home (which is probably less disruptive for everyone - including Jayden - than being in the hospital, considering the paps), just that he's not in immediate danger." - someone from jjb
November 10, 200816 yr Britney Spears's trip home with her sons this weekend took an unexpected serious turn when her 2-year-old Jayden was rushed to a Kentwood-area hospital at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. But the toddler is "fine," according to a source close to the family. "He's doing fine," the source tells PEOPLE. "They kept him overnight." Jayden was taken to the hospital after suffering "a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable," according to the source, who says that Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne, spent the night at the hospital with Jayden. As for what caused the reaction, "They're just not sure," said the source. Just prior to the incident, Britney, Jamie Lynn, Bryan, Lynne and Jamie Spears were enjoying a fun afternoon at the family's Serenity mansion, the boys' first trip out of California with their mother since she lost custody. A rep for the family had no comment, and rep for Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline also had no comment. http://www.people.com/people/article...239198,00.html
