It isnt doing as brilliantly as i hoped it would be, but hopefully once the christmas songs disspear things should improve.

im disappointed with its performnace now that it is sliding and i must admit my worry is that sales are high this time of year probably #35 downloads on a week like this would have the same sales as a top 15 or top 20 any other time of the year so if the sales are ok will it hamper its chances of geting top 10 as the physical is 3 weeks away i think the phyisical should have bene out this week to maximise sales and get it top 10

I don't think this song will trouble the top 10 too much tbh, maybe lower top ten

 

BUT... It's selling the album, which is the most important thing. People have now liked two songs off the album that they're going for the album instead of one song, and that's great news :w00t:

it depends how low sales are in january for its position in the top10.

Several times I think, I remember 'Something kinda ooh' and 'I think we're alone now' being both top20 (or top30) at the same time, and 'Can't speak french' and 'Call the shots' were defenitely top40 at the same time aswell :)

Were Love Machine and I'll Stand By You in the top 40 at the same time as there wasnt a large gap between both of them being realesed. Biology and See The Day im sure were also in the top 40 at the same time.

I questioned this song as a single in the first place. It's a great album track, but seemed very Call the Shots v 2.0, and a very weak one at that.

 

However much like The Promise, it's f***ing GROWN on me, and the little change they made to the Radio Edit at the beginning of the song is just FANTASTIC, It's topped my personal chart, and I hope it does the same in the UK ^_^.

This was record of the week on radio 2 this week so airplay should rocket up
