lol. You say "it goes on far too long" but you want the next single to be untouchable?

That's because it's a good enough song to go on for so long ;p and isn't as repeatative sounding haha and it can be made shorter for the radio edit =]

Im really confused now as to why it's flopping, they've promoted it and as far as i can tell video airplay is strong enough. Plus they're the most popular they have ever been so why?

Oh for god sake, everyone stop moaning

The reason people are not downloading the song is cos they're buying the album instead. As soon as promotion for this song began the album rose from 9 to 5, and that's during christmas.

People may not consider it as there best song, but good enough to warrant even more people buying the album. If people did not like this song, then the album wouldn't be doing as well as it has been.

It's getting very hard these days for big acts to have big hits after the release of their album. So girls aloud are not the first to suffer from this, and I doubt they really care because they're selling lots of albums.

Why oh why no one understands this I don't know. It's A list on radio 1 and 2, so it's obviously popular

Don't be rude to people please. ^_^

i dunt think he's being rude....

one thing i have said and WILL keep saying....The Loving Kind will go top ten.

Completely agree.

i feel nervous for this song, but im sure it can do it, there are still alot of old songs sitting high after promo all new year... so lets hope a clear out will see it climb! are they doing more TV shows soon????
I actually don't think this will go Top 10 anymore :o And I am gutted for loads of reasons, the main ones being the Top 10 record and the fact I love this song

Kylie went from number 46 to number 10 in one week with 'in my arms' at a busier time of the year, nuff said.

People always worry about GA missing top ten with singles, it never happens lol

Infact, can you believe some even said the promise would miss top ten?

I think it'll be top 10, but lower top 10, #8 at highest I reckon

At a time when physicals A) made up a larger percentage of the market and B.) were more easily available

If this song misses the top 10 it's down to one thing, the albums success, and certainly not because of the standard of track. The album has sold well in excess of half a million copies before the promotion of the second single peaks, I'm not a Girls Aloud fan but I doubt that's ever happened with any of their previous albums. People seem to be buying the album instead, I did. I would've downloaded this single as (imo) it's their best for over four years, however with the album at just £3 on Amazon downloads instead I bought that and now won't buy the single. Is it really a bad thing if this is happening?

It will debut probably mid-Top 30 this Sunday, and next week hopefully it can climb Top 20. Then I think it will peak around #7 on the week of it's physical. ^_^

I agree wichoo Mark, buttttt I just don't want them to mess up their record [/crazymegafan] And it would look like a flop too, especially when compared to 'The Promise' which I think exceeded everyone's expectations.

i just hope its peak is no lower than number 9 although 10 at the very very very worst

If it peaked at #10 that would be their lowest single.

This will be their lowest charting now and i think that's rather obvious now, at this rate it should hopefully climb into the top 25 next week and then hopefully the top 15 on the week of physical.

Its got to, just got to go top 10. If not its a travesty, but i reckon the fans alone have the power for it to go to #9 or #8 at least.
