Posted October 23, 200816 yr Take That, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Leon Jackson, Boyzone, Stereophonics, John Barrowman, Il Divo, Jason Donovan and Sharleen Spiteri are just some of the star names already lined up for the entertainment extravanganza on Friday 14th November. * Great news! Really hope they do No Can Do/anything else instead of Girls though, or some silly cover song. It'd be silly to pass up the chance to promote the new single and the album, charity show or not! October 23, 200816 yr could be good promo if Island/Management don't f*** it up for them by insisting they sing Girls. At least AYN was still popular for CIN last year.
October 24, 200816 yr hmm. another GA collab? over our dead bodies. i'm still pissed off with WTW
October 24, 200816 yr Walk This Way wasnt as bad people tend to make out but it was still quite c**p really considering it was my two favourite groups.
October 24, 200816 yr Walk This Way as a track was ok. my main criticism of it was watching a fair wack of the Sugababes credibility slide down the pan. They themselves did say they were worried about that (for the anal retentive who want sources to everything. It was in an interview for a sunday paper which i typed up)
October 24, 200816 yr LOL, come on now loose credibility? Maybe doing the song could of done that but not collaberating with a massive, critically aclaimed girlband. Its one of those cases where you think, why?! I mean just last week Keisha was talking about how GA are outsold by her band and look what happened the week after - Girls Aloud are on course for a massive single and massive album whilst Suga's are on set for their second lowest charting (and atm selling) album ... karma's a b**ch isnt it. I'll be glad to see them on CIN though, people think i hate them on here but i dont ... i just think GA are far better. Edited October 24, 200816 yr by coolnav
October 24, 200816 yr Author Well Karma isn't *really* a b!tch in this instance because she's still right, they've consistently far outsold GA! LOL.
October 24, 200816 yr Author :P Who can guess what will happen in the future? The music industry is SO unpredictable. All it would take would be for Sarah to be caught doing coke or Keisha to be accused of bullying and their careers could be over. :o I do think both groups will be around and experiencing success to the end of the decade at least though. And I don't think either will ever get to the stage of carrying on past their expiry date, with albums going in at #47 and singles missing the top 20. :heehee:
October 25, 200816 yr :P Keisha to be accused of bullying and their careers could be over. singles missing the top 20. First one - Siobhan always goes out of her way to accuse Keisha of bullying, it ain't harmed them so far. And Soul Sound, and FMH come to mind for the second point :kink:
October 25, 200816 yr Author Well you know, I meant big singles, and I meant a proper accusations, not a passing mention years later. :P Pedantic boy! LOL.
October 28, 200816 yr Well you know, I meant big singles, and I meant a proper accusations, not a passing mention years later. :P Pedantic boy! LOL. :kink: you know me, i do love to be pedantic :P
October 28, 200816 yr If No Can Do was being released at the end of November and if they performed it at CIN, I think it would be great promotion.
