I was wondering, do you think they're likely to pick lists with album tracks? It doesn't specifically say to only pick songs the band have released but I thought it might be something to consider. Then again, there aren't a whole lot of bands that you could pick '6 ultimate tracks' from just on single releases, Coldplay have 12 top 75 hits so far so we'd have to pick half of their releases to make this list. But as it doesn't mention that it should be singles only it's irrelevant I guess.

 

I don't like Coldplay much at all really. I'll admit they have some good songs, I'd just prefer someone else to sing them. Here are the ones I like best (dislike least?):

 

1) Trouble - just the best song from them I've heard, by far, for me. The Beverley Knight version may have something to do with that. :ph34r:

2) Speed Of Sound

3) Violet Hill - after months of hating it I was slightly converted, by the Kooks of all people.

4) Clocks

5) In My Place

6) Yellow

 

After Clocks I was scraping the barrel a bit.

 

As for the other 6 songs, I don't really know much from any of those artists. I really like 'One' by U2 though. :heart: (assuming it's the one with MJB, she probably makes it 'not Rock' though)
