Well I went on a good browse today - three shops :lol: - and here is what I found...

 

First stop was HMV, and I went straight to the new releases section to be greeted by Il Divo, Christina Aguilera and a few others which I cannot remember, and then one little column for 'And Winter Came' at the bottom of the shelf. Quite poor really... so I headed over to the chart section and saw that they had charted her at a pawltry #38! I swiftly moved on. WHSmith was my next port of call, and I was much more pleased here, as I saw a poster in the window promoting the album, and saying it was their Album of the Week. :D That meant that if you spent over £15 on anything other than CDs or DVDs you would get the album for just £6.99, which is a great promotion. They had also charted Enya at #3 on their chart, which was far, far better than what HMV were offering! Next up was Zavvi, and for some reason they had put Enya in their classical chart, but she was #2 there so all was good and she was on display as soon as I walked into the shop so there was nothing to complain about there. Later on then I went into a different HMV and the promotion was slightly better, and there was more than just one column of 'And Winter Came'! But finally I visited another WHSmith, and to my amazement, there were copies of 'And Winter Came' everywhere. :o And the shelves where it had been looked quite bare, which suggested that it had been quite full earlier on, but had sold a decent amount. :D

 

So not too bad, especially from WHSmith!

Excellent news! :cheer: What exactly is a "high street store"? Is that what they call the more popular stores? Like the big chain stores?

Yesterday I didnt saw any Enya album ,if today I dont find it on stores I will have to write in the Book of Complaints but to Warner.

 

I also move the Enya albuns that are on stores when they are hided lolol

Yeah the bigger chain stores Gloria. So let's hope it can shift quite a few! :D

Yeah I found the same thing in the great shopping paradise of Wigan. HMV had it on display but WH Smiths were making a much greater effort. It's their album of the week and higher up in their chart.

I'm doing a tad of promoting myself. :kink:

That's really good. :o It'll go nowhere near that high in the UK unfortunately.
