February 20, 200916 yr Naomi and forward (bar Effy) should be decent. Do we even need an Effy episode? She's featured prominently in all the episodes so far :s I agree, when I read that I was thinking the last episode was about Effy as her and Pandora featured in it a lot. I feel we already know a lot about her and I didn't even watch the first two series. I felt this episode was quite weak, we found out a bit more about Freddie (which I guess was the point in his episode) but we didn't get much else from it. Effy was almost becoming likeable but that was ruined when she went back to Cook who further proved that he's a knob. Other than them three we didn't see much of the others at all apart from JJ who was being a sheep to Cook as usual.
February 20, 200916 yr I didn't GET tonights episode. The whole Freddie's family thing was bizarre and the love affair with him and Effy doesn't make much sense to me. I don't get JJ's character as well; is he meant to be scared of Cook? The whole thing left me quite puzzled.
February 20, 200916 yr Author ^ I assume JJ is autistic. The love triangle is bizarre I agree. There's nil chemistry between Effy/Freddie for a start (I blame Freddie's wooden personality/acting by the boy who plays him). Cook/Effy seems just as contrived. WHY are they together? WHY is Cook like that? Why snog your friend then f*** off like that? It's bizarre and a bit mentally insane? I don't see where things are going. The Freddie family thing too? What's wrong with the Dad and Freddie going round in a loop? Naomi next week will be epic. LOL @ her sleeping with Cook. OH DAR.
February 20, 200916 yr I know one of them went to my former sixth form and is still there. RANDOM CONNECTIONS EH JOAO Strange this, because, my friend used to know the lad who played COOKY when she was about 13 or something. But they parted ways, and not like he'd recognise her or owt :o Edited February 20, 200916 yr by TheFletch
February 20, 200916 yr ^^OMG, was it actually Javine. I actually thought it might by her, but i didnt think she do Skins tbh. Episode was a bit  After the brilliant first episode, it's all been a bit dissapointing and pointless except for Pandorra's episode. Cook needs to die and Effy, I just complety fail to have any sympathy with. Freddy's family and the whole sister in the talent competition was also rather  and just sort of went nowhere. Pandorra and Naomi's only lines in the episode were  and hopefully Naomi next week should be
February 20, 200916 yr Reminded me a bit of season 2 as it had more of an emotional story, was boring though and the worst epside of season 3 so far though imo.
February 22, 200916 yr I kindah enjoyed the episode. Freddie got on my nerves so much, I wanted to hit him. I think the episode showed a clear insight into Effy, and she prooved to Freddie that she would break his heart (as quoted by her in the episode). I feel we need an Effy episode.
February 22, 200916 yr one of the better episodes. i liked it. um, that guy needs to get over effy and terminate his friendship with cook. they are awful.
February 22, 200916 yr Weird episode. I thought it started OK, but then got a bit dull. Effy's getting on my nerves. She's so cold and one dimensional, I hope she goes through a personality overhaul soon. Whoever said Freddie and Effy have no chemistry at all is completely true too. It's such a bad screen pairing. I know we're all supposed to hate Cook too but I think he's such an ace character bahh. He does seem a bit fucked up in the head though. I think it's obvious he's a bit posessvie over Freddie... well quite a lot tbf.
February 23, 200916 yr It was one of my favourite episodes too, I think Freddie is very likeable, his intentions are always very honourable (esp compared to his sister, who could barely dance, what was that about?!), and I like that we have a good guy (loving the image of him in his white bracelets and Effy in her black) Some great one liners - 'Don't you ever say c*nt and Oxfam in the same sentence again!!' (best ever?) and JJ in general 'Do you know what Naomi is backwards? I Moan.' I just chuffin love Skins, always!
February 24, 200916 yr *SPOILER* In regards to JJ, he apparently goes a bit crazy in his episode being torn between everyone and always being put in the middle and has to seek psychiatric help.
February 26, 200916 yr Author Well UP for this episode. Lots of HOMOSEXUALITY going on appaz with added Freddie pining for Effy. What does he see in her again? o.O
February 26, 200916 yr i dint really like the first series at all but the 2nd has really grown on me alot
February 26, 200916 yr What song was that just then when Naomi was on her bike? It sounded quite good.
February 26, 200916 yr I adored tonights episode, Emily & Naomi make such a cute couple LOL. I think Emily could be one of my fave characters now I think. ^_^
February 26, 200916 yr EXCELLENT episode. It's been a while coming but that really was a great chunk of the series. Skins can connect well when they don't try too hard with the joka-lolz-we-take-drugs angles. I very much look forward to next weeks episode aswell, heard good tingz about it. WOO4SKINS2NYT etc
February 27, 200916 yr Yeah, really nice episode. Naomi has the sympathy/likeability factors in droves. Didn't think JJ's epi would be up to much but the preview looks okay...
