February 6, 200916 yr Yes I thought it was pretty bad. Just boring like people have already said. I didn't really care about Thomas? I've just spent the last 2 episodes trying to get to know a whole new set of characters, and then they randomly introduce another main character. Pretty messed up scriptwriting imo. Could have been handled a LOT better.
February 6, 200916 yr LOL I thought the script was brilliant... why wouldn't you care about Thomas? You would've if he was in Episode 1, so I don't see the difference? Plus he was a LOT more likeable than half of the main cast!
February 6, 200916 yr By far the best episode of series three so far for me. Thought this episode was gonna be rubbish judging by the preview that was shown after last weeks show, but Thomas turned out to be a great character, just get rid of the gangster storyline. It was so much better without Cook, cos he was hardly in it. Pandora's episode next week will be good. I like how they focus mainly on one character per episode.

Plus he was a LOT more likeable than half of the main cast! Yeah I would. I just found it to be pretty pointless. Such a random time to introduce him to the show. It's just like the shows cast has had a complete re-haul and you're trying to get used to all these new characters, then you're beginning to warm to them, then this random guy shows out of nowhere to enter the fray. That's just how I felt. I don't mind about un-likeable characters anyway, I find it hard to hate characters in TV shows. :lol: So when they're OTT I don't normally mind.
February 6, 200916 yr Fair enough :D Thanks for explaining what you meant instead of just bandwagon-hopping :P I do see what you mean, an odd time to bring him in, but I did feel they pulled it off.
February 6, 200916 yr All I have to say is that the man who plays Thomas is incredible, I never thought I'd get teary at skins but when he cried and was in the hall etc I really felt his pain. INCREDIBLE :heart: Does he come back?
February 7, 200916 yr Filler episode. What was actually the point in episode three? No progression with any characters at all. Cook, Freddy, Effy, twins, they all remained firmly in the background. Pandora got the most airtime (away from Thomas) and she's the most firmly established character in this series up to now. What happened in this episode also? Too much nonsense padding out an hour when so much development could've occured. Thomas was introduced. They sold weed. They ate chillis. Fin.
February 8, 200916 yr Boring, but the best episode so far (which isn't saying much at all...) Hopefully the Pandora episode will be interesting, but this whole season feels so off. I do not care about these characters at all. If one died, I wouldn't be sad. I was incredibly sad when Chris died. =/ And Season 2 wasn't even that good, so what does that say about this? I'm excited about Emily/Katie's episode + Naomi's. Naomi's easily the most interesting character and has barely been seen yet. =/ Wtf.

Some of the characters they've barely touched on yet (a la Naomi, and even Freddie, who is from the promo pics released, one of the core characters...). Was just pointless. We know barely anything about the new set of characters apart from Pandora's always hooked up on space cakes, Cook's a bit of a Jack-the-lad and one of the twins is gay.
February 8, 200916 yr Tbf I don't think I can recall more than 3 of the characters names. :lol: I enjoyed the Thomas episode, although found it pointless that he left, but I'm sure he'll return (maybe even by the next ep).
February 8, 200916 yr Author The Naomi episode has real potential; student elections: her vs. Cook o;
February 8, 200916 yr I think Thomas must be back by the look of what Pandora gets up to next week - and the style of the necklace she was wearing! I thought it was another great episode, loving this series, Thomas was very instantly likeable so that made his slotting in easier. I think I am going to start saying 'So nice to meet you', it's sweet. I love the dialogue more than anything, love the lines Jark posted (as well as 'And don't think of moving, they are all mine. And they'll be 400 quid, by X Factor') :D and also 'It's like being fisted by Joe Calzaghe - when Joe's still got his gloves on' :D
February 8, 200916 yr I just watched the repeat and I really liked it! Yeah it was kinda slow but I still thought the dialogue and everything was really good, Pandora just got even more amazing and I think her and Thomas did make a good couple. I do hope Thomas comes back for the next episode though, I actually really liked him. :(
February 9, 200916 yr Author He's not back until at least episode 7 if that. I assume he returns in the finale...
February 12, 200916 yr Author Looking "okay but sort of $h!t" tonight. Certainly higher hopes than last weeks' "Down right awfully terrible" premonitions which came to fruition.
February 12, 200916 yr Hmm, this week's should be good. I dont really think it could get any duller could it. Anyway Thomas better be back at somepoint or it was a total waste of an episode.
