I read online that the new Deluxe Edition of Spirit will have the US mix of Whatever it Takes on it (as well as the single mixes of Better in Time and Footprints) and was wondering does anyone know where i can hear this version??? Apparently it cuts out the gospel choir that comes in near the end and im just really curious to know what it sounds like ^_^

it's not as good - doesn't have the same impact imo

 

SO i FINALLY managed to find this on youtube and i must say...i cannot believe they thought that removing the choir was actually a good idea?? it sounds c**p now...its completely missing something...and i dont say that just cos im used to the other version. it just sounds bare...and empty!!! Idiots lol

I think it was done because AMLT, FITS and Run all have choirs so maybe they thought it was overkill? Who knows! I prefer the choir version though definitely.

Well...this version of WIT is the one that first appeared on the North American version of Spirit released near the start of the year so Run has nothing to do with it. Also, both AMLT and FITS were on the International version of Spirit already with the normal version of WIT.....so basically there is NO reason i can think of as to why they did this :wacko: :wacko:

Well that was rather pointless wasnt it. Sounds so much better with the choir.
