dance has never been particularly a genre of choice down under has it :o so few dance songs in there...

 

can't believe Rollercoaster got to No.1 there!

Not as popular as in Europe but I wouldnt say not popular. It was moderately popular in the early 90s and it was quite popular again around 2000. There are still at least 8 dance songs in the chart (that I know of), which is still a lot more than nowadays (that is, 0 or 1 song from time to time).

it's ridiculous that Addicted To Bass took 4 years to come over from Australia to the UK...
