December 23, 200816 yr Author Hmm not sure about the USA figures Gloria. :o I'd estimate around 350k-400k though.
December 28, 200816 yr Author #32 this week in the UK, and before this week it had sold roughly 192,000 nd sat at #70 in the end of year chart. Let's say it sold another 30,000 this year then we're looking at sales of around 220,000 and probably about #65 overall. Not fantastic, but four places higher than Amarantine was at the end of 2005, however the sales of Amarantine were around the 350,000 mark...
December 28, 200816 yr Author That's bizarre. :o Why hasn't that chart success transferred across to the Billboard 200?! It's #29 on Amazon UK.
December 29, 200816 yr Author I suppose it goes to show that Amazon sales don't really have much relevance to the real charts.
December 31, 200816 yr Author Yeah they do - all sales whether online, in-store or pre-orders count. ^_^
January 1, 200916 yr I can't believe AWC isn't higher on the Billboard chart in that case...it has been #1 and #2 on Amazon.com pretty consistently.
January 1, 200916 yr Author It's #17 or somewhere thereabouts in the USA this week, and falling to the lower end of the top 40 in the UK...
January 4, 200916 yr i didnt expect such a huge drop but with alot of cd selling at low sale prices the album chart is all over the place
January 5, 200916 yr I think the album is still expensivefor people. A friend offered me the album and said that bought in Uk for 12€,here the album is 18€ and in Ireland I saw the album in 17-16€.
January 5, 200916 yr Author You could get it in the UK for £8.99 atm, which with the pound in the current state it is in, would equate to roughly €8.99 as well! So all you non-Brits should really think about buying off Amazon.co.uk! :heehee:
January 6, 200916 yr off-topic: When I saw the booklet of the album I fell in love with the first photo, why we dont find it on the internet??
