no doubt you as an anglophobe will yet again support any minority group over any white male english group and ONLY br critical of US :P

"Anglophobe"..?? Where do you get that idea you prat....? :P I have an objection to English arrogance certainly (which was hilariously punctuated in that brilliant Channel 4 documentary in which supposedly "english" people all took DNA tests and found out, much to their chagrin, that they were not as "english" as they thought... :P ), and think all this focus about St George's day is an utter joke seeing as how he was about as "anglo saxon" as the Persian Emperor... Where, funnily enough, is where old Georgie-boy hailed from, according to historians.... :P

"Englishness" is meaningless mate, England/Britain is awash with foreign influences, has been ever since the Romans invaded; it's your (and the BNP's) incapability of understanding that simple fact that makes me laugh and appear Anglophobic.... Go ahead though, wave your little flags on St George's day mate, just dont expect me and my Celtic brothers and sisters not to laugh our arses off, because we know the truth which you cant accept.....

Only critical of US...? Oh, well obviously you weren't taking any notice AT ALL of my criticisms of Russian aggression in Georgia or indeed have appeared to totally forget the arguments we had over the Summer regarding the Chinese Olympics.....

ive heard far more hatred for US as a race from them then i have the thugs from the bnp.

are ALL muslims racist? nope but then again neither are ALL bnp members!

the facts are that whether anyone is a racist or not, being in the bnp does not make them automatically racist :P

The Americans are not a "race" as such, they are a collection of races and descended from immigrants ... Apart, of course from the Native Americans, and I've certainly seen no hostility towards them from anyone other than historically by those in power who butchered them and stole their land...

And I think you'll find just as much hostility and "hatred" towards the US power system from within, particularly amongst minority ethnic groups who are marginalised and rendered almost powerless.. The Hispanic community (which has to be said is hardly a "minority" seeing as how Spanish is almost as widely spoken in US as English, in certain large cities it's pretty much 50/50 English to Spanish, and in border towns, probably a majority is Spanish speaking..) is probably more downtrodden than the Afro-Americans just now, at least there is a Black President (it however remains to be seen if he's going to be a real President or just another puppet for those who really wield the power...), but the chances of a Hispanic one...? Slim to zero...

And why should Muslims particularly like America anyway...? They've armed the Israelis against the Arab states with nukes, they've time and time again turned a blind eye to Israeli atrocities in Palestine, never taken seriously the demands or requests of the PLO for a Palestinian homeland... And then you have the US military presence in Saudi Arabia which began in 1990 as a caveat to Gulf War I against Iraq; which is where Mecca is... Er, oh dear, red rag to a bull really don't you think....? Or maybe you've never heard of the "Crusades"..... GAWD, is it any wonder an organisation like Al Qaeda was able to flourish...? The US has made its own bed, and dragged us in with it as its designated b**ch.....

Sorry, I think there are perfectly valid reasons to not like America much... Racism is irrational and has no basis, the dislike people have of America is actually based on something tangible...

As for your supposition that not all BNP members are racist.... Er, why join a racist organisation then....? If you're saying that people are joining BNP because of concerns over immigration, crime or Europe, well, UKIP is also a party which caters for those concerns, but they somehow manage to do it without being a bunch of vile Nazi scum.... In fact, I give them credit for refusing to make a pact with BNP, mind you, it's about the only thing I give them credit for  . If even they want nothing to do with the BNP, what does that say...?

blah blah blah... old argument that ill educate you about yet again *yawn*

'st george' is a real authentic persian name innit! but we aint on about that.

the romans, saxons, vikings and french normans (viking origin) invasions were a gradual change in population and culture, many of which were very similar to europes culture/population as there was free trade. those invasions which were more 'rule by agreement' then subjection in many cases with the romans taking over by alliegance with tribal cheifs more then force took place over the first millenia... so for a thousand years those cultural imputs have been fixed, resulting in england and the english who as history has proven, been the leading light in civilisation throughout the second milennia. THATS what being english is and is why we do have something to be proud of...

being english does mean having a mixed ancestral heritage, i bet very few races are 'pure' anyway! i see nothing racist or wrong if a political party want to upheld that tradition. anyway...the old chestnut 'the bnp are racists' is far from the truth... if the bnp WERE racist they would be banned! but under our laws, built on a thousand years of democracy, have dictated that the racist element of the bnp have been removed. ironically its 'our' very success as a nation that has caused immigration!

the point stands.... why shouldnt a teacher be a member of the bnp any more then a muslim? both groups have a dislike for certain sections of our society but its far easier to pick on 'john' then 'johnny foreigner' .... as i see it theres nowt to chose between them.

Well, neither is "Andrew" really is it, but "Saint Andrew" hailed from the bloody MIDDLE EAST (Bethsaida, on the Sea of Galilee), and was, allegedly, one of Jesus' disciples.... At least I dont seek to deny this fact, and pretend that our patron saint is as Scottish as bloody butter shortbread or summat, because that would be rubbish.... Unlike you, I dont seek to deny the "other" cultural influences in Scottish society, particularly the French and the Entente Cordiale....

Check this out on your supposed "English" patron saint dude.....

He gets around a bit does old Georgie.... He's Patron Saint to all sorts of Nationalities and ethnicities.... The legend itself hailed from PALESTINE..... Which was part of the Persian/Ottoman Empire.... :P

Yeah, Rob, that's a nice post.. Still doesn't alter the facts that England is awash with other cultural influences, and always has been. You cant just say just because these things were assimilated into your culture, that they are actually "English" or "Anglo Saxon"...

A "leading light in civilisation"??? Try telling that one to Ghandi, Nasser, Robert The Bruce, the Africans, The Aborigines or Charles Parnell (the father of Irish Nationalism)... Fukkin' JOKE that one.... If that's your idea of "civilisation", well, that just says it all really.... As I see it, you have NOTHING to be proud of with a history of Imperialism and the subjugation of other lands and peoples purely for material gain...

Doesn't make you civilised... Just a bunch of Mercenaries and Capitalists..... No different to the Medicis or the Rothschilds.... At least they were more honest about it though....

eh? i dont hold up st george as anything at all... i dont regard st george as a figure that encapsulates 'englishness', ive largely ignored st george, as far as im concerned all he has contributed is a name to a cross.

and i do fully accept other cultural influences, UNLIKE many scotts who think they are a pure race, not having been effected by the roman/saxon/norse/french invasions to the extent england has. im FULLY aware of the influences those 4 major invasions had on our resident celltic population and how over the first milennia they forged what was to become england as we know it throughout the second milennia..

in plant production cross polination = strength... i see our genetic base the same way, which is possibly why england became a leading world power. but that was done over time... so the laws of evolution could adapt.

oh get over it... we wasnt always imperialists and no more so then france, spain or portugal..

we were a leading light in civilisation... inventions, scientific discoveries, industrialisation, law, medicine, human rights, magna carter?...lol.. many of the great epoch shifting innovations came from britian/england. THATS what my idea of civilisation is...
