Posted November 20, 200816 yr Since it's starting to make an impact now, I've decided to make a chart thread for it's charting in the UK. Debuted at #95 last week. :cheer:

November 21, 200816 yr considering it was performed on x factor it is a very bad position i wish mariah would go back to doing ballads i ahte her non ballad songs I Stay In Love is a ballad though? #95 is terrible, it's not going to go any higher. Even IBLULT did better than this but I guess that did well on airplay, this has had little to none I think.
November 24, 200816 yr i wudnt say no one is interested as her ballads album i selling ok at the moment but i think the interest in new mariah material isnt there and people are clearly prefering her older work
December 1, 200816 yr i wudnt say no one is interested as her ballads album i selling ok at the moment but i think the interest in new mariah material isnt there and people are clearly prefering her older work Her older work is much better and suits her voice alot more. The newer stuff is just dull. I hope she will eventually return to a more pop sound. Its what she does best.
December 16, 200816 yr I've actually grown to "I Stay In Love" a hell of a lot. It really is WBT version 2. I'm hoping she doesn't completely transform back to this "innocent girl with a beautiful voice who sings POP ballads", because it's boring and cliché. I think E=MC2 is a strong album, but the single choices have been poor. I think she's suffering from overkill, to be honest (like a lot of stars from the 90's). It seems to be happening a lot more now (e.g. Madonna, Celine Dion, Brandy etc.). It sucks, but it's the truth.
