Clicking her fingers in the air as she struts her stuff on the dance floor at a glitzy party in LA, Natasha Henstridge looks happy with her newly curvaceous figure.

The Canadian star has filled out a bit since parading her (mostly naked) rail-thin body in the sci-fi movie Species more than a decade ago.

But in a slimming black dress, she still has a figure for which many women would be grateful.

Natasha is 34 now and happily engaged to Pop Idol reject Dariius Danesh.

The actress joined a host of stars at the Maxim Hot 100 party in Santa Monica last night.

As a former model, the mother-of-two knows all too well the pressures on women in the industry to maintain a tiny figure.

But her display last night proved she now appears happy to champion a more womanly hourglass frame.

The actress, who also starred in the 2008 thriller Deception, is now based in the Hollywood Hills with fiancé Darius.

She was married to Mexican-American actor Damian Chapa twice. However, the second marriage lasted only a few months and the couple divorced in 1996.

The star has two sons by actor Liam Waite - Tristan River Waite, 10, and Asher Sky Waite, 7.

At the age of 14, she left home to begin her modeling career in the highly-competitive Paris fashion world.

She landed her first cover on French Cosmopolitan when she was only 15 and has since graced the covers of many international fashion magazines.

There are photos of Natasha dancing on her site, but none of D.

However, there are photos of D and N on Rex Features, taken May 13th.

 

Meg, I've fallen at the first hurdle. How do I print screen?

There's a button on the right hand top of the keyboard. It's marked print screen. Don't worry, I had to play to find out what it did.

 

I got as far as an edited photo in a document. It will right click copy, but when I return to Buzzjack

the Edit at the top will not light up paste.

Bramley, you need an editing program like photoshop to edit it into a jpeg file and then save and put it on a hosting board like photobucket.

Ye Gods !!!!!!! I give up !

My 'editing' was with the computer tools e.g. sizing the photo by bringing in or out the edges till it stood alone

and the size I wanted.

But I shall persevere.............

I wouldn't mind if only the computer would help. I have the weirdest messages come up on the screen.

Message from A.V.G. this morning...............'Text cannot be started because it already does not exist.AVG'.

 

lovely to see them looking so happy..have to say from those pics brought over that dress is a bit of an odd style, she actually looks pregnant, she looks perfect other than that.

if only these journos could get into their heads what normal women look like- being stick thin is not natural, healthy or very appealing.

I loved Eli Stone. Use to watch it with hubby and Letitia our daughter. We don't understand why they did'nt do another season. They could of got so many more stories from it Taylor had'nt even had her baby yet. Did anyone else watch it?

I don't see the problem with the weight thing?????????????

 

The photo taken with Tristan was taken at a restaurant. I can't remember where I read about it. There were a few more photos somewhere and I think Asher was there too, hiding behind Natasha.

 

So Darius paid a fleeting visit to the UK while Iwas out of the country. I wonder what he was really here for. He wouldn't have done a round trip from LA for that event.

 

I guess I'll have to just wait to see if it comes to light later. If Darius was free to speak and he wanted us to know, a little bird would probably have told us by now.

Yes I did, thank you, megham, other than the one day we'd scheduled for Quebec City.

 

It was torrential rain persistently throughout that day. We did brave it but it just wasn't the same. We saw enough to know it's a beautiful and quaint old city and we'd like to go there for a bit longer.

Do we know when the picture was taken? It says Natasha's in Eli Stone but that was shelved a good while ago.

 

Darius looks fine, as always!
