thanks, I was hearing "with your gloves on or gloves off" in the show, but it did seem a few to many words

I absolutely loved the jail scene, in fact all of the scenes with just Jill and Darius. Hand and glove - perfect fit. I just couldn't imagine anyone else taking over from them.

 

All credit to Savannah that she stepped into the breach, although she hadn't had time to properly prepare the role and acquitted herself so well.

Me too. I didn't get there until 6th May.

 

I've booked a holiday from 3rd to 17th May, so be ready just in case Darius does his usual and decides to gig or do theatre just at that time. I swear he waits until he knows Pam and I are tied up.

This one shows just how bad reporters are. Anyone recall Darius playing nathan Detroit?

Darius was in G&Ds after PS for starters and as you say he didn't play Nathan anyway :rolleyes:

I should think that Patrick Swayze wouldn't be that chuffed that an Arts section journalist viewed his starring role in the West End as a come down or............. that is how I personally read that article with it's deliberate reference to Darius as a reality TV star.

 

I remember seeing a very famous actor, not Kevin Spacey, being interviewed on American TV and he said there was a hierarchy of actors in the States - those who did TV, then Hollywood actors and then the real actors - theatre actors and that most Hollywood stars yearned to prove themselves on Broadway or as even more of a challenge, in London's West End at the top of the spectrum for them.
