I would love to see Darius playing the Phantom,he's voice would be perfect for that role! :D....but i wouldn't want him to wear that mask though,his face is far too Gorgeous to cover up!

I seem to remember Michael Crawford spending an inordinate amount of time being made up for each performance.

I seem to be alone but I didn't really like Michael in this. His acting was really good but his voice just seemed wrong for the Phantom

Michael ball was on BBC breakfast this morning celebrating 25 years in musicals. He said the shows that gave him his big break and made his name was Les miserables.He also said that to continue this you had to keep at it appearing in gigs shows etc continuously. He has a new album out with his favourite songs.

I agree - that would be one I'd love to see.

I'd be flabbergasted if the new phantom wasn't in fact the guy who's playing the Phantom at present, as he has done all the workshops. He should be a shoo-in for either London or Broadway.

 

It's said Lord ALW wants to open the show simultaneously in London, New York, and Shanghai or Beijing (I'm not sure which)
