That would make sence then,as there isn't any news as to when it's going to start :( I hope they manage to sort something out, and it still goes ahead!

If they haven't sold the last one to the USA, that could mean they'll hold onto this series for a while. It could also mean that they aren't updating the page until they have a definate date for the new series.

Maybe now that the hotel is under new ownership and new management and both Max Beesley and Tamsin Outhwaite have left the cast, they intend to create a new page for Hotel Babylon.

 

Did I read somewhere that a DVD of Hotel Babylon was due out in the summer? If so, maybe they intend to put out the new series just before its release hoping to capitalise on the renewed enthusiasm.

 

Either way, we're still waiting.

When I see songs being raved about on here or other music sites, I usually do follow the links but tbh there are very few I'd repeat listen to.

 

I've got Christmas money on an HMV card and I've wandered round and round looking for music. I think I'll have to buy DVDs instead, before I lose the card.

I seem to be spending less on music than I ever have in my life. I just 'know' Darius' new stuff'll be great. I'm just getting fed up of waiting.

He does seem to have one bad luck after another. Today have been scanning through OK mag with Jade on the front and there is a picture of Natasha at the oscars after party, yet again he is not included yet we know he was there. It has happened so many times I really think it is by design. There are other partners of of celebs also lesser known who are included.

I couldn't see Darius in that lead at all. Too twee.

 

If he did consider it, I'd rather see him as the other evil banker or as the eccentric subway ghost................ something with a bit more acting range.

I actually wouldnt like to see him taking on a completely new musical again as a lead just in case. I think a musical with a dual lead as in Guys and dolls where there is another named lead be it male or female would be a better proposition again just in case, This is not to say he cant carry it he most certainly can but I think the media would tone down their comments in that instance.

I agree Preston, but it's sad when we're nervous of D taking on a role in a new musical, even though he has the talent, because of what the critics might say. Sue

I'm not nervous at all about the prospect of Darius originating another lead role. I just don't think the character of Sam has much to it - soft romcom type in my estimation - pretty 2 dimensional. Darius is much better than that.

I think he's be great in it - or as the baddy. I'd prefer to see him as the good guy in this but he may want to show his evil side. Even the critics praised Darius' ability. They seemed to be gunning for Trevor and Margaret.

I just want to see him again! although I did think ghost was a typical cheesy us film so cannot imagine what songs they would do to make it a musical, it would be just so slushy.

I long to see him onstage though.
