Me too but it has left a sadness which, I think, is making the waiting harder.

That's exactly how I feel Meg and being there on the night they heard the news they were closing was awful. I was listening to a discussion on the radio in which they said that the West End has turned around and that productions there are performing to packed houses. They said that people are determined to enjoy themselves despite the recession and that good productions will always survive, it's the poor ones that fail!! I wanted to throw the radio across the room  Sue

It was good though.

Anyway, looking back over that thread, it seems to also show lyrics of the same song sung by different people. I just have no idea if he's sung it or when he would have sung it. One place c ame up with the audio recording and then said they didn't have it. Very frustrating.

I had no luck either, but quite a few web-sites seem to endorse the connection with D. But sometimes they pick up a story

from another web-site without checking its credentials.

Nice to see you back, Bramley. I know he does private gigs and wouldn't be surprised if he'd sung it there but I wouldn't turn up to something that was private.
We would - I've not gone to places before because Darius is going as a private person and I haven't already booked.
A much better photo than before, but no mention of 'Guys and Dolls' or GWTW. Wonder if he'll be at the Polo again this year.
Thanks Meg. Although it has changed it doesnt seem terribly up to date with its comments. i.e since Chicago.
OMG!I just want us to get some news from him!ARGH soooo Frustrating!!!!!
In summer he usually does. But my two aren't actually playing much this year so I wouldn't be going to many anyway.

Our girls were both keen riders, but one grandaughter has outgrown that passion, whilst another has an allergy to horses.

She ended up at hospital when they went on a farm holiday.

I've never liked Horses not even as a Girl, and now me and Bri are scared of them ever since we got chased across a field by a gypsie's Cart Horse! All we wanted to do was stroke the damn thing!
I think you're right. They do tene to do what they can get away with, so you have to be in control.

Picked up this from another site although not directly D related but could have some bearing. The poster is very knowledgable re music business. It crops up during a discussion that Leon jackson who won the xfactor the year before last has been dropped quickly by his label and before his tour goes out.

quote - Now here's the rub, take Daniel Bedingfield, wrote one of the most played songs this decade 'If you're not the one', he's now written and submitted two complete albums to his label, both were turned down. It's danmmed hard to get work recorded, and artists are submitting stuff everday, that will never ever, be used, Leon and Starsailor guy are going to have to pull something special out of the bag to break that mould.

D does not appear to be in the same boat label wise but even for 19 a long time has passed but not it appears for some of their artistes.

And while they are tied to a label they can't get anyone else to release the albums either.
