Mmm, but that was his original contract, before he was dropped. I was thinking of Brilliant 19, but maybe that is his agent, not

his label. Maybe he is looking for a new label and distributer.

So how do they get out of that situation. I believe Daniel was with Universal but I could be wrong.I believe Amy wsinehouse was with mercury but isnt now.
Its a bit of a sad situation because what one label doesnt go for another label could and make a hit. Alesha dixon, lemar, amy winehouse etc etc all did well after having a contract previously.I loved Daniel s If your not the one and he obviously is very capable.

Just been checking in D's book, 'Sink or Swim'.

Page 168......... D signs a contract with Mercury, a sub-company of Universal, for five albums.

He also signs a contract with Brilliant 19 to be his managers.

He is still with Brilliant 19, but hasn't he left Mercury ?

Beyond me. So now, does Brilliant 19 have to find backing for his new album? Or will it still be Mercury?
Darius has been dealing with that side of things for a while now though hasn't he?as well as doing the producing himself too :)

Brilliant19 was/is is management company. I don't know if it's been absorbed by the parent company but Nick is still with him when he's working here.

19 is his record label.

Well, whatever and whoever, I just hope things are progressing with the third album.
Anything would be more than welcome ( except a string quartet ). I really have no idea.
It sounds to me that in the be in the mid and low ranges of his voice.

I think also it will be unpoppy. I like his voice on From a distance which has made a few people sit up so maybe something along those lines I would be happy with as long as it shows off his range particularly the deepness which wasnt shown off in his pop music.
I think it'll be very un-poppy. What do others feel?

I'm not sure, but i think thats what makes it even more exiting, whatever Darius has on there i'm sure that we are going to love it!! ...........Cant wait for it!!!
