Apparently the 23rd Annual Gemini Awards Gala on November 28th in Toronto was broadcast, presumably on Canadian TV.

Maybe some of the show will surface on youtube or somewhere............it could even include D and N.

Why should he publicise an evening where Natasha is the main attraction, and he is only the unknown boyfriend whose name

they can't even get right.

When he does something off his own bat I'm sure we shall get to know......or at least I hope so.

I doubt that they'd have got Campbell unless that's the name he's using now.

Maybe the strong anti Persia/Iran feelings? Remember when he started someone from the UK posted on an American site that he had terroist synpathist? Something so out of his character I can never understand the pure viciousness of trying to destroy someones life and carreer with such untrue rumours. Anyone who knows the family know how kind and caring they are but. of course, it was to a place where they weren't known. People can be very racsist and that even affects a man who flees the violence in his country, is adopted by another country and brings his sons up as full members of his adopted country which decent values and respect for their fellow beings.

I didn't know about that posting. D has had a lot of hurdles to overcome.

Well, when it came out it was pointed at a source which wouldn't want him to do well.

I wondered about the Campbell too but I reckoned the photographer maybe picked him up wrong. Ontario is full of Scots and Canadians of Scottish descent, so possibly someone asked what clan he was from and the photgrapher assumed that was his surname.

 

Darius has always been proud of his heritage, so I can't see him changing his name unless he has to e.g. if there is already someone in entertainment in the US with his name. Darius is a very common name over there and Danesh is a common Iranian/Persian family name.

Well if you google Darius Danesh only one comes up.

If D was trying to shake off his Iranian connections, he would never have consented to be on the Los Angeles Noor Film Festival

on the Iranian Bebin TV. He would not have wanted to be associated with it, for fear of fanning the flames.

I think the Campbell must have been a slip-up somewhere along the line.

I hope you're right. Darius Campbell sounds terrible.
