Darius prefers to lie low between projects. He always has. We should know that - the amount of time we've waited for word from/about him.

Any PR he's ever done has been in support of a project - that's the product, not the man, and certainly not his private life. I respect him for that.

I realise Baytree he likes to lay low between projects, its just the length of time he does compared to other artists which is losing him fans etc and as meg says something would be nice. It reminds me of another couple, the actor Greg wise who was doing a lot of tv acting, then he married Emma thompson and was virtually never heard of again but she went from strength to strength.I saw him recently in something and it was the first time for ages and ages. I know I sound negative but there it is.
I would just like a 'I'm OK' now and again.

I agree Meg. I was surprised that he didn't comment on his Birthday card and present. However quiet things have been, he's always done so in the past. Just knowing that all's well with him helps you to stay positive. Sue

I do think D takes his fans for granted at times.
He doesn't when he thinks but he's usually dealing with what's in front of him. How many of us haven't had at least one good chat and meet with him?
Thanks Meg. I've just discovered that my son's new Deputy Editor went to university with Darius. He promised to buy her a drink if she let him copy one of her essays. She did and guess what, she's still waiting for that drink! Sue

Oooh........cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bet it was when he was rushing backwards and forwards to London, trying to keep both

ends going.

There is talk of a possible postal strike in some areas on Friday.

That's all I need. I've only just turned my attention back to Christmas. I'm a week late with the Canadian cards. I know they havwen't much chance ofgetting there on time but I don't want them to think they're forgotten.

I sent a card by airmail only yesterday to my niece in America. Hope it gets there in time.
Last two local cards gone today. Hope I've not forgotten anyone because I'm calling it a day now, especially with the strike on Friday. Sue
