Last post day tomorrow for 2nd class stamps....I really must get the last of mine done :o
How is Dane now? Has he had anymore fits, or are the tablets working?
Dane hasn't had anyfits for 9 days. He still walks around as if he's lost though and crys quite a bit. We're hoping he'll settle when his body gets used to the tablets.
That must be upsetting for both you and him. Glad the fits seem to be under control though. Sue
Yes, they were really scary for him and us. You feel so helpless. You can't help as that makes it worse. It's not been a good year all round.
Let's hope the New Year brings better things.

I've actually done a few Christmas cards, hoping it would make me feel more festive, but it didn't.

The postal strike set for Saturday and Monday in Somerset has been called off.
We had post today. I haven't had time to look at it though. I should be rather than being on here.
With so many different people bringing it in, I'm sure I must have overlooked some mail this month.

Director Baz Luhrmann has bought the rights and intends to make into a film The Great Gatsby...........one of D's favourite

books. It did nothing for me when I read it. Another story based on American history, the roaring twenties and the great

depression. Can't see it being a great success in the present economic climate.

I saw the film with mia farrow but it did nothing for me either.

I've been reading about a law passed over 300 years ago which made it illegal to eat mince pies on Christmas Day.

This law has never been rescinded.

Well, I for one will be breaking the law on Xmas Day !!!

With strong white coffee..............latte for me, please. Only if nothing stronger is available, ofcourse !

Edited by Bramley

I hate peel - so I'll be legal and not eat Xmas pud or mince pies.

We always have Bucks fizz with breakfast on Christmas Day.
