MGMT have to be one of my favourite acts of 2008, and I'm always playing their album, one of my favourite albums of 2008 along with Duffy, Last Shadow Puppets.

 

And on a final note, I really can't get into Lady Ga Ga, I can't see the fascination, maybe its not my cup of tea.

isn't this remix fantastic?! They've just released a double album of remixes - and they're all pretty damn excellent. Yer Man are terrific remixers anyway...but 'Heat' is fabulous. Hope you like the video, too :P

after having the album on repeat for most of the year, I'm a little tired of it... but I can't hear a single duff track on there tbh.... as the album goes on, the tracks get better. So for 'new' acts - it's between them, Last Shadow Puppets, Late of the Pier and Cut Copy for me.
