The third single to be released in Europe (+ also Asia & Australia) will be Defeated, with Anastacia kicking of her challenge to break into America in Spring 2009 with the album-titled track 'Heavy Rotation'.

I think what it'll be is;

 

'Absolutely Positively' is being released in Spring 2009, the same time in which she'll start releasing in America [according to report, will be 'Heavy Rotation'- she isn't going to release Absolutely Positively now is she?]. With then, the 3rd Euro single being 'Defeated', and by the time Heavy Rotation is finished Defeated will be America's second single.

And HR for the US was to be expected. Good choice IMO. Hope it will get a lot of airplay.

Where did you read it? Isn't it obvious that they're pushing for a US release? That's why we're getting the good singles so she can really be considered an international artist.

but they've f***ed it up...if that's how they're thinking when doing this then they need their heads sortin out...why would they risk all of the success that she COULD have had just incase she might crack America...she should've stayed with Sony imo

Defeated is a great song but it should've been second, AP will do NOTHING. And because AP will do nothing, and because ICFY did nothing, Defeated most likely won't be given a chance on radio and will end up a download single missing the Top 200 or something silly...

 

Heavy Rotation being US single presumably means that in the unlikely event of the UK getting a 4th single, it'd be that, which is also silly. They could save money by releasing Defeated as the third single in Europe and the first in America.

What I was hoping for was to push ICFY + AP out before the end of this year, and then start afresh in 2009 with Defeated.
