Was anyone else expecting it to do alot better? Its really dropped down in the charts very quickly. Its a shame cos I love the deluxe edition with DVD.

It could pretty much be considered a flop in the majority of countries it was released in, sadly.

I think a few things really ruined this project.

1. SORELY underpromoted.

2. Video for Keeps Gettin' Better was released FAR too late and ended up being a non-factor. Plus the video was $h!te.

3. The lack of physical for Keeps Gettin' Better, which could have helped it chart better and thus made people realise she was back. Which I still don't think people realise. :arrr:

Oh and the solely underpromoted bit is the main reason I feel, aside from the VMA's and the AMA's - what else did she do? The VMA's was basically rendered obsolete because it was waaaay too early to start promoting and the AMA's was just too little too late. It's all about timing and RCA screwed it up big time.

yeah what was it al about with the video?

it was indeed way to late released, plus it SUCKED!

I agree with what Kelly has said, it's not done very well but because of the complete lack of effort put into it. It's a shame as it's a decent package with 3 quite good new songs.

I suppose on the upside all of her studio albums have sold really well, so the real test will be how the next studio album does.

Besides, sales are not always directly proportional to quality.

:)

What matters, actually, are live performances, respect for the artist, studio album reviews :) (at least imo)

There's hardly anyone who will doubt Christina's talent - and that comes from a person who's not a fan.

It definatly underperformed but it wasnt a complete disaster and probably could have done much much worse IMO. Plus there was absouletly no effort put into it and with it being only a GH it's the next studio album that matters.
