its great they have goo dpromotion leading right into its release i think it will go number 1 this day week but its the sale si will be mor einterested in

So maybe only one week for Greatest Day at number one!

 

But the album surely has to be number one to Christmas. We've got massive week one sales, 350k, the highest of the year, then a boost with Take That Come to Town, 400k, then the next week and a half getting near Christmas, 600k. They will be selling in the hundreds of thousands each week to Christmas. I would say around 1.5 million new albums sold by end of year. Always the optimist!

you made some great points bond bug and indeed the promotion is nice and spread out to gain sales over a few weeks,and i reallyhope your sales predictions are right, if my memory serves me correctly beautiful world sold more in the christmas week and was the 2nd highest weekly tally of the year and the highest weekly sales for an album outside of the a debut week

Whatever it does ... they're certainly going to sustain the sales what with their TV Special coming on Sunday, the following Friday they're on GMTV in the morning, then there's the Royal Variety Performance and I wouldn't be surprised if they are someway featured in Peter Kay's Christmas Special (an hour with Geraldine).
