He has played a wide variety of roles over the years, but is probably best known for playing Father Jack Hackett in the TV comedy series "Father Ted" from 1995 to 1998. I have heard this before but didnt know it was a totp-worthy hit....also i think Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews were involved with a few other hits in ireland with a bizzare tribute band called the joshua trio - which i think was the u2 back catelogue done in the style of the frank and walters....
