I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, because I havent been in the cinema & movie forums for a while but I just stumbled across a thread on digitalspy saying that there is going to be a remake of The Exorcist

 

So I did a little search on IMDB and I havent found anything, so does anybody have any info?

I sincerely hope that this is just some rumour.... But I get the awful feeling that it might just happen.... <_< Fukkin' Hollywood at it again.... They rip Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Romero's Zombie films, The Omen and Amityville Horror to shreds, I guess this is probably the last one that they can p!ss on.....

 

....Then they'll probably move on to remakes of remakes....

 

I'm hearing some pretty awful rumours of a US remake of the brilliant Japanese Manga/Live Action series "Death Note"..... Just how the FUKK they can possibly translate something so unique to Japanese popular culture into Western popular culture is frankly beyond me....

Apparently Dakota Fanning is supposed to be in it, but I've looked on her IMDB page and there is no info about it there :unsure:

That sounds like a fake rumor, to be honest. I did some snooping online and it dates back to early 2005 when Dakota Fanning was younger and more famous. The girl is 14 now. Granted I wouldn't put anything past Hollywood. Nothing it too sacred.
