Well radio have had it at their disposal for a couple of months. It can take a song three, four or maybe even six months to peak in the US if radio are slow to catch on but the fact that airplay is steadily decreasing is definitely not a good sign.

I can never fully work out how america and charts work, but from what you are saying i can understand it ain't looking the best for them right now in america

I saw it climb from 66 to 63 yesterday on US iTunes, that's what I meant by slowly taking off, there is still some hope yet.

As for the album, I don't see it doing well here somehow. :( I'm predicting 30-40.

Kelly Clarkson says she is a fan and has chosen them to open for her on her US tour :)
I imagine they're launching it off another single. I can't see the album doing brilliantly here regardless, but they may stand a better chance if they release the album with two hits on it.

Hummm, probably better, but annoying, spent ages looking for it in HMV today, before i found the store search computer thing the customers can use, i was like i may as well look on it and use it to see whats going on. Bad times really.

omg i love pop music. its so fun and upbeat. makes me want to dance constantly. ashley tisdales new song "its alright, its ok" is the bomb. its going to be the new summer anthem just wait!!
LAST week they had a top 10 song in the UK but it will be more than three months before British fans of The Veronicas get their hands on the electro-poppets' album.

Although Untouched is No.8 on the singles chart, Jess and Lisa Origliasso's management has postponed their album Hook Me Up hitting UK shelves until the twins tour there for the first time in September.

The diminutive duo are touring the US but, without an album to play, let's hope fans remember who the girls are when they buy tickets.

The album's not out until September, it'll be released after '4ever' (the second single).

I've came around to thinking it could be better that way, if they can push for 2 hits off this album it would be better than them being affiliated with the "one hit wonder" tag like I was worried about.

ya i agree with you and i must say they are far too good to end up being a one hit wonder and they deserve international success
Heard this today for the first time, i'm not sure really... It doesn't seem to go anywhere? I like the instrumental, but it all seems to be sort of on one level and it stays there. I don't really know what i'm trying to say other than it doesn't go anywhere. It's the sort of thing I would usually like though so it may grow. ^_^
