What's your favourite track from each year? I would start with the '50s but I'm not really familiar with music from that time. So beginning with the 60s, my choices are:

1960 The Drifters - Save The Last Dance For Me

1961 Del Shannon - Runaway

1962 B Bumble & The Stingers - Nut Rocker

1963 Skeeter Davis - End Of The World

1964 Dusty Springfield - I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself

1965 Chris Andrews - Yesterday Man

Walker Brothers - Make It Easy On Yourself

1966 Isley Brothers - This Old Heart Of Mine

1967 Scott McKenzie - San Fransisco (Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair)

1968 Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & The Trinity - This Wheel's On Fire

1969 Glen Campbell - Witcha Lineman

1965 - couldn't choose between the two.

why chose any? id suggest that consortiums 'all the love in the world', or fleetwood macs 'oh well' could have been the choice from '69. .... i LIKE wichita lineman, but im not going to pretend its anything other then what it is.

Likewise for me but not ony 66 but 67, 68 & 69 as well.

1965-1970 were my faves in music from the past I would say miles better than the 70s.

In the 80s I preferred American Rock and in the 90s I turned on to European music. I loved the European Rock and Dance Scene (Techno, Trance, Hardcore etc)

I still love European Rock. Acts such as The Rasmus, HIM, Within Temptation, Hoopverphonic, Silbermond etc
