Unlike Pele (Lord Levy signed band) - The Pale can be found on youtube!!! And they've been going as long as the bloke out of Amsterdam/Pele....one of those Irish bands like also the frank and walters that have kept going and going in Ireland in the pages of hotpress - and who unlike Ham Sandwich had at least one brief moment in the English charts sometime a million years ago !!! And looking at wiki if The Pale refers to 'English crown territory in Ireland from the 13th to the 16th centuries' - thats actually a good name for an Irish Band (maybe you like to say for once :lol: ) - much better than Ham Sandwich, the frank and walters or Snow Patrol :lol: :lol:

Listening to these old tracks above you wonder if they have influenced Gogol Bordello in anyway as its very close - very proto-Bordello...(maybe tho it could be said that critically Shut Up Venus would be equal to Take Back The City, while start wearing purple would be Rock The Casbah)...tho now Elizabeth In Rags sounds more like a ska-Waterboys (which is actually quite a good thing as i think this is a great record below....and can be found on 1969 Records rather than 1965 Records if you really really want)
