Up an coming rnb sensation, Jazmine Sullivan released her 2nd single 'Bust Your Windows' in the US not so long ago. It became the second consecutive top 40 single off her debut album 'Fearless'. Extremely impressive considering she had an album due for release at the age of 15 when she then got called off from the record label. Now she's basically had to do everything herself and with not much promo. The UK release of her album is said to be around early 2009 hopefully they use this as this first single as it will be much more successful than her debut US single 'Need U Bad' imo. This song is a complete stunner.. I wish every song today had the originality and proper talent that this one has. Everything around is so cheap lately.. One of the most grabbing factors of the song are the intense emotion in the quite harsh lyrics.. Many can relate to this. The track starts off slowly and ends with a bang. Barely any repetition. An amazing song by an artist nominated for a handful of Grammies today.

 

Any delusional Brit who watches X-Factor and thinks Alexandra is "oh my god, what an amazing singer" should listen to this artist and realise what TALENT is.

This is way better than "Need U Bad". The production on this is really good; the beat, the violin score. Her album (much like Solange's) is like a breath of fresh air on the R&B scene. I hope this does really well here.

Fear is my new favourite on the album. What a slick, contemporary R&B track. This should be the next US release instead of Lions, Tigers & Bears.

I really quite like this song despite the depressiveness of it.

She does deserve to be successful as her album is really quite great.

'Dream Big' would be a great lead single for the UK followed by a double A-Side having this and 'Fear'.

Every song on the album is really good though, i wasnt particulary fond of it at first but its very much playable from start to finish

without skipping songs like on most albums.

 

She's had loads of promo: Ellen, BET, TRL!!!!

 

This deserved to do so much better than it has! :(

Amazing vocalist. Her accapellas are crazy. I love 'Need You Bad', I hope when she releases in the UK she does well. It's such a shame that real singers aren't always given the shine they deserve.
