December 8, 200816 yr Lovely show. I won't say anymore how much i like a certain song, i will be hated if I will go further :naughty: * Geraldine is very funny  . The last question of the quizz, however, remained unaswered. Meh! * at least, till they make it the official second single.
December 8, 200816 yr Up all night is my all fave - and the lads had asked at Manchester during the recording which song we prefer, Up all night was a clear winner and it sounded the way Gary was saying it that it will be the next single. Do we know how many people watched it ?
December 8, 200816 yr Author Up all night is my all fave - and the lads had asked at Manchester during the recording which song we prefer, Up all night was a clear winner and it sounded the way Gary was saying it that it will be the next single. Do we know how many people watched it ? 4.2 million - not bad for a Sunday night - especially as Top Gear was on the BBC at the same time. Also - people will know that this is going to be on repeated on TV about six times leading up to Christmas (on ITV2) which may have made regular Top Gear viewers decide to watch it at a later date. Norma
December 8, 200816 yr 4.2 is good enough ratings but if im honest i was expecting at least 6-7 million viewers as i think thats what their tv show last year got
December 8, 200816 yr I actually expected that the show will reflect in the iTunes. But only Rule the world is up 5 positions . Is that good as people buying the album instead or is that bad as people don't care about it ???
December 8, 200816 yr Author 4.2 is good enough ratings but if im honest i was expecting at least 6-7 million viewers as i think thats what their tv show last year got If you're talking about An Audience With Take That - remember - a lot of people will have been watching for the celebrity audience (which in advance was known) not just Take That. This one, it was well-publicised, was purely for fans and friends - so it was only ever going to attract Take That fans (especially with Top Gear on the other side - which I believe ordinarily has regular audiences of about 8 million (this Sunday - their audience was 6 million.) Also remember - it did much better than the NYE show at the O2 which had under three million viewers. Really disappointed with the results on iTunes of this though (Greatest Day doesn't move - understandable in a way - I think its used up all its currency), but RTW has nudged up just 5 measley places from 40 to 35. I don't think Shine or Patience have done anything. I'm half hoping that the results will be seen in this week's sales of the album (and possibly even the BW album too). Otherwise ... hopes for them shifting 1,000,000 of the new album by the end of the year would seem to be very slim indeed! And before I get criticised for being too negative ... I think a few of you will be thinking the same thing! Norma Edited December 8, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
December 8, 200816 yr i neve rexpected the show to boost the singles a hole lot but i think it will have a huge effect on the sales of the album,,rule the world will probably be the only single aprt from greatest day to gain from it
December 8, 200816 yr Author i neve rexpected the show to boost the singles a hole lot but i think it will have a huge effect on the sales of the album,,rule the world will probably be the only single aprt from greatest day to gain from it I really hope that at the Royal Variety Performance they do 'Up All Night' and not Greatest Day - as I think the singles sales of it have reached their limit ... and I think as far as album sales go ... UAN will do the better promotion job! Norma
December 8, 200816 yr Author And Never Forget ... I love this dead simple version of it! v8bl0h8l9N4 Norma
December 9, 200816 yr My fav version of Never forget remains the one from BW. Bloody brilliant !!! Norma, have you seen the iTunes: [**] 88| Take that - Julie [**] 91| Take That - Up All Night I am a little surprised that Julie is higher, perhaps is very small difference. But the Greatest Day is fast falling. Well, i am very happy that they were 2 weeks in top 3, i didn't expected that to be honest  !

I'm glad Greatest Day got them their 11th number 1 - as long as it did that for them - I don't mind if it drops out of the top 10 by Sunday. I agree with your first comment a few days ago about the downloading of album tracks (especially UAN) as I don't want anything to deflect from its sales when it is released. Norma
December 9, 200816 yr yes im just happy greatest day is a another number 1 and it has sold well already and at this atge i cant see it selling anything less than 200,000 over all,,its still top 3 in the midweeks so at worst should be top 5 come sunday
