Shania Twain last night denied she is in a relationship with Frederic Thiebaud.

 

The country superstar jetted into New York City earlier in the week accompanied by the ex-husband of the nanny accused of having an affair with Mutt Lange.

 

A smiling Shania said that Frederic Thiebaud was a 'Very good friend. An old friend' as she climbed into an SUV outside her Manhattan hotel.

 

Thiebaud was then seen leaving the same hotel on foot just a few minutes after the singer's car had driven away.

 

Record producer Lange and the stunning singer split in May amid rumours he had grown close to Marie-Anne Thiebaud.

 

Thiebaud was Twain's longtime secretary and the house manager at the star's estate in Switzerland.

 

Shania and Lange married in 1993 and were together for 14-years before their break-up was announced.

 

Lange produced three of Twain's albums 1995's 'The Woman in Me', 1997's 'Come on Over' and 2002's 'Up!'

 

He has denied that any affair was part of the break-up of his marriage to Twain, telling People magazine in May, 'It's literally just a growing apart, that's all.'

All Things Shania!

 

Shania Shania Shania. We have a ton of updates for you guys. Thanks to Tommy's Site for providing the pics and some details. He has always provided us some hits when we run Shania stories, so go check his site out for all the Shania news recently. Lets start with some personal info. First that mystery man....well Shania has denied a relationship with him and you can read all about that....here!

 

Strange that Shania is denying since she's been spotted again in the Florida Keys with Frederic Thiébaud. The pictures above are from that trip. They are being reported to have stayed at a beach side bungalow where they kissed, shared lunch, and then went skydiving. Hmmm....didn't see that skydiving part coming.

 

Shania and Fred were spotted leaving lunch by a cameraman who said congrats on the new relationship. Shania and Fred smirked but didn't deny. The video isn't online yet, but I'll be stalking youtube for it.

Now onto Shania's professional life. The buzz around the internet is a Spring release of Shania's new album. That would mean a new single in early 2009. I haven't heard anything on this other than internet buzz....I constantly get emails about this, but I can't say I've heard a single thing on Shania's new album. Soooo if you know anything and want to share our email is always open for tips!
