they formed only a couple of years ago and have had 3 No.1 singles in Sweden as far as I know...(and only 3 singles in total, Baby Goodbye will be their 4th)

Yeah, I believe they are comprised of three popular male artists from Sweden.

The only one I really know is Danny - who had two solo albums (one before EMD formed) and one that just came out about a month or two ago.

 

Together they've had three singles, all number one. So the popularity factor is there.

Baby Goodbye is definitely one of their more Upbeat Tracks - I remember two of the three singles they released being quite drab.

reading the profiles of tonight's artists on the SVT website, it seems that everyone's favourite food is roast pork and onion sauce :rofl:

Wow, Star Pilots - Higher. I ddidn't realise there was more than four of them, but the fifth guy is great, reminds me somehow of Guille from La Casa Azul that should have entered last year for Spain...

Don't like Susanne Alfvengren - Du är älskad där du går, quite a dull ballad, she looks about 60 too...

Star Pilots = so outdated, but catchy, a clone of Star To Fall/Falling Stars though, I'm surprised it doesn't sample anything

Susanne Oldlady = boring, forgotten it already, but apparently it 'grows on you' and has 'comforting lyrics'...ok then :lol:

Star Pilots may have a problem in that the act, Star Pilots, are essentially the 4 dancers. The not usually seen singer clearly has a good voice, but if those dancers don't have a note in their heads, which I would consider likely, then they'll have a problem when they don't have recorded backing vocals to fall back on.

 

Agnes was good, but I don't think it has a chance. It will go the same direction as Velvet, Nina and Marie unfortunately. She also didn't seem to be giving it 100% tonight. Also I know that recorded backing vocals are allowed but surely she's stretching it a little bit by having herself on the backing track.
