You may recall I mentioned a while back that London's gay magazine QX had asked me to review Circus for them. I'm mates with Dusty O, the club owner whose column my review appears under, and he'd asked me to do some ghost-writing hehe... a massive thanks to Tyler for the more detailed info he supplied...and I need to tell you - they wanted something caustic. And the comments made are mainly how I feel - the whole albbum was messed up, tracklisting-wise - whereby all the best album tracks are only available on the deluxe edition - huuuuge mistake.

Well, it's in this week's issue - and....don't kill me folks :P

Page 52... and some material in the magazine may cause offense - so.....

LMFAO. It made me laugh, but I disagree about alot of the tracks (obviously). I do agree about Phonography, it f***ing kills me that it's a mere bonus track...one of her best.

And you have to admit Russ, atleast you like a COUPLE of songs from Britney now, where that was barely the case before (bar Toxic and Gimme More).

hehe...I like loads of her tracks.... not the poppier early stuff, though - but the more electro later stuff - fabulous.

The Circus album as it is - the basic issue - is a disappointment after Blackout, I think - it's bizarre she chose to leave the best tracks off.... especially considering the buzz around Lady GaGa and the track Phonography (which everyone seems to love most on the album).

Circus the single is great, though - and it does kinda remind me of Sexyback - but moreso Janet Jackson's Control album.

Hmmm, what do you think about Kill The Lights and Mannequin?

I think Mmm Papi and My Baby should be the bonus tracks, and have Phonogrpaphy and Amnesia take their place. I love Blackout, but some of it is just to autotuned...Circus seems like a mesh of pop/urban Britney, meets electro Britney, meets 90's pop Britney lmfao. Most of the tracks being the first two.

I did mention Kill The Lights as a highlight - but they omitted that bit.... Mannequin... not keen on that one at all.... it's just too awash with any effect the producers could possibly use - sounds messy to me.

I think London is on a Britney downer right now after the G.A.Y. fiasco, Tyler - WTF was all that about? She could've at least said hi to the fans on stage (there were plenty of security holding them back by all accounts).

I think that can be blamed on G-A-Y and her handlers ( ) Britney has always been extremely warm and welcoming to her fans.

Sorry to butt in on the convo folks but has anyone got Phonography et any of the other bonus tracks that they can send me? I can't find them anywhere and am potless :(

P.S Russ, are you still working on my banner? :P

Also butting in: I don't think G-A-Y was a case or Britney not wanting to meet people. She clearly addressed the fans she was shown in the second room ... not her fault it the management screwed it up so badly she didn't have the opportunity to see everyone in the club. If she didn't care, she'd never have even gone in the first place.
