...and of course you should really have been doing somethng else.....

I should be half way to Salford to look round the Uni but Neil is just eating his Frosties.......

A good day but only to find out the course was not as he wanted.

He has an offer this morning for Huddersfield...so that cheered him up and it does a year in Industry.

I should be writing my International Christmas cards and collecting a parcel for Stuart.

I've just looked in the front bedroom, the one I should be decorating, and our suitcases are still there....which means a huge struggle to put them in the attic :(

I really must get going....but it was good looking through photos for Christmas + Darius....see December :)

My son went to Huddersfield University and he loved it.

Should be thinking about doing some ironing. Only just got back from Asda. For some reason it took ages today. Sue

The year in industry sounds good in the present economic climate........ it may well lead to a job at the end of his course.
It does sound good. Employers always like some experience and that's what that would get him.

That's what I've been saying to him from the start.

He's found another course at Salford which may suit him better....he's ringing the admissions tutor today

Must dash to work and hope the roads are clear, there were several main routes shut in Lancaster last night due to a building collapse....an unused one....I think

I should be turning up the hem on a tunic I want to wear for a Christmas lunch next week, but we went Christmas shopping this afternoon and husband couldn't find anywhere to park the car, so it all went down hill from there really. Thought I'd have a Darius moment to unwind first. Sue

I hop they let him consider the other course.

He didn't get hold of anyone but when he checked his UCAS form he found they had altered his course and given him a conditional offer

He also has an interview in Jan for Thames Valley Unis - at Reading

I must really go to bed I'm so tired

I'm glad he has offers.........gives him a choice. Moving on from school to further education can be a nightmare, it's

such a big decision.

Yes I'm glad too.

I should be clearing the small bedroom.....still not done it.

I have cleared the attic space for the suitcases and also cleared....but refilled...the space under the stairs.

There's quite a collection of items in the traier ready for the tip.

I also need to get my Christmas tree up

Need to go and wrap some presents. Time just flies. In winter, you no sooner open the curtains, than it's time to shut them again! Sue

You don't make things easy for yourself. I gave up on finding my favourite Xmas puddings, so bought some from M&S.

Then this afternoon I found my Matthew Walker ones in town, so bought some more! At this rate we shall be eating

them in the summer. Good job Hubby enjoys them.
