I know how you feel Meg and Pam. It's ten years, this year for me and I still miss both mum and dad dreadfully.

 

I have been stuck in all day waiting delivery of a cymbal for Mark. One of those where it's anytime between 8am and 3pm, and it still hasn't arrived, so no shopping done. Sue

I can't stand waiting but I should be used to it now.

I should've been getting ready to go out for lunch. Have to dash.

Have been to get tester pots of paint for son's room. Need to make a decision now. Help! Sue

Oh well, another pf those things that are bound to be wrong. Does he have a colour in mind?

Yes, he's already chosen the wall paper, natural tones and shades of blue in vertical stripes, but the tester pots of paint aren't right, so it's back to B&Q. The trouble is, the colour on the tester pot is different from the colour on the big tin, which is different from the colour on the paint chart and they're all supposed to be the same, and I didn't think it was possible to have so many different shades of cream!!!! I spend ages choosing and buy loads of tester pots, which are expensive for what they are, and still get it wrong! :angry: Sue

Join the club, Sue. Our 13yr old is now a very glamourus 14yr old. They don't stay children for long. I keep nagging her to tone it down. All the clothes I've bought seem to cover more of her up - and, funnily enough, she looks even more mature in them.

Oh Pam, I meant that I should be considering banning her from grown up clothers. There you are, I'm back in the right thread again.

I've bought the latest one for my husband. He's just too tired tonight. Which means he's been busy and had a productive day, so I shan't nag.

I remembered and watched my laptop clock jump an hour from 1 to 2am. I've should be continuing to steam clean my carpets, erasing all evidence of my daughter's birthday party.

The sun has finally broken through the cloud, and after this, Im going to plant some little viola plants I bought at the supermarket before it disappears again. Sue

It's lovely and bright here - but it's been a lot warmer - even though they reckon this is the warmest day, it isn't.

I should be going through all my old work magazines and taking them to the paper bin.

How exciting. I'd go and have a 'coffee' instead. I should be getting ready to go to a party of 75 14 yr olds. It makes sorting papers sound a fantastic thing to do.
