I did, thank you and Mum is capable of holding her own weight standing today. A huge improvement. I should be loading the dish washer but I'm on here.

I feel lucky to have a Mum. At least we can still laugh about the daft things we've done. I just wish she was better.

That's such a shame. At least Mum and I did many things together over the years. We went hill climbing once and I was daft enough to let her lead the way so that i didn't do more than she was happy with. We ended up over a 50ft drop, both giggling. She was totally stuck, I'm scared of heights and I had to hold all the bags, hold on and push Mum to safety as well. I didn't let her lead again.

She just wants to still do those things.

Aww thats Great news about your Mum Meg(hug),sounds like she's still got a young brain too which is Great! :D

Aww i'm sorry to hear about your Mum being ill too Silvertongue :( ,hope she gets better again soon(hug)

I look around and see people who have had health problems for most of their lives and I do appreciate just how lucky we have been. My Dad lived until he was 55 and my mother-in-law until she was 65 and that feels wrong. I just want my Mum well and enjoying her life. We are never satisfies even when we know we should be thankful for what we have.
Aww in completly agree with you there Meg.I've always said that life is a precious thing that we are blessed with, and that we should all treasure every moment of it. (hugs)

Yet again, I should be going to bed but I'm on here. I'll listen to a couple more tracks and then slip away. The pc wont even notice.

Do you leave your PC constantly on ?

One of my daughters closes hers down and switches everything off, the other daughter disconnects the internet connection, but

leaves the computer running day and night. Which is more usual ?

I should be doing housework now.

I always close it down when I'm not using it to save power.

I should be going out to lunch - so I wuill.

I do that as well Meg. Have been to the dentist and then did the "big" shop. Have put some things away, but then got sidetracked on to here, so should go and finish off. Sue
I really don't like going to the dentist. Then again, I'd hate to have to have false teeth even more.
My dentist has just sent his 6monthly reminder for a check-up............... I'm trying to ignore it.
