I think last years xmas puds are better, they mature so I always get them when they are cheap and put them away, same as mincemeat for mince pies, so much richer after maturing,

Well, I was on the point of throwing out an unopened jar of mincemeat from last year, but now I'll use it.

Without chocolate - the world would end.

That too. Really strong and black - both chocolate and coffee. Although I do like most kinds of chocolate but only strong black coffee.

My mum is watching 'Strikctly' which is why I'm up here. I must go and cook though.

I should be wrapping presents but I know people will just unwrap them and so I just can't motivate myself to do that.

The first Xmas without someone you cared for will be hard, but for the sake of the others you have to try.

I think we all feel the same. I'm off to meet Nina now. That'll cheer me up. I just hope the trains are running OK. They said rthey were yesterday but, that's happened before.

It was a good day. Nina is very handy for finding the shops. She has also made it possible for me to keep connected to the internet during January. Mum's doesn't have the internet. Very nice indeed.

 

I should be cooking - they are waiting for food - I'm not hungry.
